For the last two years, Donna and I have been “smuggling” yarn between her house and mine. When we both lived in Worcester I think that we ran the biggest yarn smuggling operation of the city. Let me explain to you how this went:
A car would drive up my street and park in front of my house. A big bag would come out of the car and would be handed to me. I would then hand another big bag out to the driver and then I would then go back to my house with the bag. I can’t imagine how it must have looked to the neighbors looking out: Two women exchanging big bags of yarn to each other!
Now that I’ve moved about 45 minutes away we have to use parking lots for our yarn deals.
This photo was taken last week in a Wal-Mart parking lot. You can see Donna preparing herself to hand out the sock yarn (Mostly Noro Kureyon Sock) to me. I gave her in return some Farmhouse Fannie’s Fingering weight. A yarn deal was made. It always makes me laugh when I see us exchanging bags of yarn out of our cars! It feels like it should be illegal it’s so cool!

Maybe next time I’ll show you a picture of me!

LOL
HAHA! Contraband!!
ROFL — You two are funny!!
Thankfully, what you’re doing is completely legal…well, for you anyway
My DH has declared all yarn acquisitions illegal in this house! Whether money has exchanged hands or not!
Good thing I am willing to do the time if I am caught, eh? ::gg::
