Donna had been wanting to knit the Pom Pom Awning pattern (Ravelry link) by Kat Coyle (pattern in the book “Greetings from Knit Cafe”) for her new dining room table for a while and when we received the new Be Sweet Bambino she knew exactly what yarn she was going to use to knit it.
This table runner is knit in 2 sections and then grafted together in the middle and it has multiple lace and plain stockinette sections with changes in color here and there. Donna picked for this pattern the Tomato colorway and the Aubergine colorway:
She started working on the pattern about a week ago. She started working on both sections at the same time and knit the first lace and stockinette parts.

Donna is on vacation right now, I know that she hopes to have a lot more to show you when she gets back. And her dining room table feels really naked without a table runner covering it! : )
