This weekend, Donna, Sarah and I got together with Michele to give her what all of you have helped making.
After some thinking we decided that Michele might enjoy something else than a blanket and decided on a table runner. Sarah was in charge of assembling all the squares together and made a wonderful job of it. She crocheted each square together on the diagonal and added an edging around the whole thing.
Here is a shot of the whole table runner, can you see your block(s)?
Michele loved it so much that she wanted to wear it as a wrap, isn’t that a great idea?
Here are Michele thoughts on the table runner:
“So! i put the table runner on my buffet, under a big, colorful painting, and i cannot begin to describe how much it added to the room. greg [her husband] LOVES it. we are so pleased to have this work of art in our home. of course now, i am inspired to do some knockoffs and have been analyzing the crocheting for future projects. thanks so much for your thoughtfulness and creative efforts. michele”
Here you can see a photo were you can see the crocheted edgings better:
I want to thank again everyone who participated, we really wouldn’t have been able to do it without you.

Yup, I see my square. I’m so glad she loves it!! I think it works equally well as a table runner or a wrap.
